There have been several attempts to demonstrate what a conversation might look like between a Frisian speaker and someone speaking Old English, but many of them have shown one or both of these languages in a poor light. This video attempts to demonstrate, as realistically as possible, what it would actually look like if someone from modern-day Frisia tried to have a conversation with someone from 10th century Wessex. Enjoy!
