How to decide if I like being an Interpreter or Translator?

1) What is it like to be an Interpreter? People who speak.
2) Translator do I "fit" in the role? Mainly do I enjoy doing this? People who write and strive for precision
3) How to exercise your brain for a simultaneous interpreter?
4) Don`t do a free translation
5) Different fields into the profession of the interpreter
-Medical interpreter or translation
-Legal or court interpreting or translating that may include civil, criminal, or international business cases -the so-called classical ones, but below I give information about a bit less usual interpreting fields.
1)USCIS citizenship status
2)Police or 911 helping people or firearms forces
3)Immigration court
4) Asylum immigration court cases
5)criminal justice
6) Domestic violence and social workers helping victims of sexual, physical, or psychological abuse (this is a separate field that is not discussed in this video) Neither mental health interpreting is discussed because I do NOT advise a beginner to work in those fields.
-Business or trade fair simultaneous or consecutive
-Interpreting in a booth or in a cabin what is unusual? Using a consecutive mode of interpreting.
