🔸Drew, the Tattooed Chap, hikes Striped Peak trail and explores Secret Cove just a five minute drive outside the Olympic National Park, located in the Pacific Northwest. Striped Peak Trail is an easy five mile hike (with a few moderate portions). The trailhead is located at the Crescent Beach / Tongue Point /Salt Creek State Park, which boasts of an amazing beach, tide pools, wildlife, and wonderful views of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. The camp is the former home of Camp Hayden, an Army Costal Artillery base from 60 years ago or so. There are bunkers all over the area (some hidden in the woods) to explore as well!

🔸This area is a must-see if you are visiting the Olympic National Park--even though it resides just out side of it in Joyce, WA. So many great hikes in the Pacific Northwest area. Plan your trip to the Olympic Peninsula and hike the Pacific Northwest (PNW) today! I recommend using the Washington Trails Association website and app for the most up-to-date conditions and information on trails in Washington. www.wta.org
