Released in 1972 by 'my childhood heroes' Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers. Unfortunately it never became a hit-single.
As some of you might know, Long Tall Ernie and the Shakers was a dutch rock & roll band but this song, from their first album: Put On Your Rocking Shoes, has a nice latin feel to it.
So I added some percussion and a cuban string quartet and this is what I came up with.
Now in 2023 it's over 50 years old, I still love this song and I hope you will enjoy it as well. Here is: Everynight I am Lonely.
