The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Division of Safety and Hygiene, has created a series of micro training videos on Safety topics and areas of concern. This video is a review of trench safety and trench inspection. This is not intended to be all inclusive, but a supplement to a company’s specific policies and training. You may wish to use Trenching and Excavation: Daily Inspection Checklist (https://info.bwc.ohio.gov/static/Safe...) to inspect your worksite or audit your current checklist.
