Shadow Dragonite is a very powerful lead shutting down all the starters and fighters that are popular choices for alot of players, pairing it with Talonflame and Drifblim that can both function as closers and safe swaps makes for a team that shuts down a Venusaur wherever it hides on an opposing team as well as putting immense pressure on shields with the threat of shadow Dragon Claw, Brave Bird and Shadow Ball.
