If you're in a rural city in China, you might eventually get tired of Chinese food. In Shanxi Province, you’ll find unique Chinese delicacies that are hard to find anywhere else in the country.
However, today we’re skipping Chinese food and dining at a Western restaurant — something not so easy to find in Datong.
To my surprise, the Western buffet turned out to be delicious! The flavors are very close to Italian and American cuisine, making it a great option for anyone visiting Datong who needs a break from Chinese food.
We start at the Datong Wanda Plaza Branch shopping center and head straight to the Western Buffet Restaurant on the 5th floor. Here, you can see just how much $10 can get you in Datong, Shanxi!
