Описание: Exclusive to the Soccer Fitness Training Centre, Treadmill Overspeed Training with the Noramco HS Elite Harness System, allows athletes to run at - or above - their maximum running speed in a safe environment. After 2 or 3 sub-maximal sprints, the treadmill is set to the athlete's maximum running speed (in this case, 16.5 mph). The athlete performs 4-5 sets of 5 second sprints at, or slightly above, their maximum running speed. Rest between sets is 35-40 seconds, which equates to a work-to-rest ratio of 1:7 / 1:8. This training represents the ONLY way to safely have athletes train at or above their maximum running speed without changing running mechanics. Over 6-8 weeks of training, athletes can improve their running speed, while maintaining and/or improving their running mechanics.
