Here's what you'll need:
3 cups of milk.
Lemon Juice (half cup)
A Cotton cloth/ Strainer (cloth is a better option)
Half cup cream - 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon sugar
Bring the milk to boil. Add in your lemon juice. Keep the flame very low. Make sure you turn the heat off when you see cheese curds and water separate.
Strain the water. Take out the cheese in a separate bowl. Add in your vanilla essence, sugar, cream, and beat everything together. Once the mixture is smooth, refrigerate it for half an hour at least.
Prepare your Vermecilli.
The next step is to crush one packet vermicelli with your hands and add a half cup of melted butter to it.
For sugar syrup
One glass of water.
One cup of sugar.
3 cardamom pods (for aroma)
Assemble
Take a small pan, and divide the vermicelli into two parts. The first part goes into the base. Add your cream cheese over it, and add the remaining vermicelli over it. I added another layer of ground almonds over it.
Bake it
The ideal temperature is 185 C.
Once it's done, you can add the sugar syrup over it.
