P3D V4.5 Stormy SRA surveillance radar approach into Schiphol RW 24 with conversation subtitles
Dutch VACC hosted the Surveillance radar approach event at Schiphol on 23-02-2020 with at that time gusting winds which caused difficult crosswind landings at the rarely used for landing runway 24 at Schiphol.
I flew in as KLM1772/KL1772 from Frankfurt with a B737-800 PMDG NGXU.
An SRA approach is basically that the pilot works together with the ATC which gives the orders for a safe landing within the end a visual landing. ILS or VOR is not used only the comments from the ATC are used for navigation to the Runway. for more information see the following link:
