Brand New! Santa Cruz Metro 2023 Gillig Low Floor EV 40'

Описание: Here is a brand new bus Santa Cruz Metro obtained very recently! These are 2023 Gillig Low Floor Battery Buses that are suburban configured! These also feature USB charging ports and a lot of legroom at the very back of the bus.This is also my very first time on a Gillig EV! When I was walking around downtown, I saw a this unit come out of the yard, and ran over to the temporary Metro to see where this bus would go. It turns out it was going on trip to San Jose, so I decided to take a ride on this, given that all bus rides were free at the time this video was filmed. I was very lucky because these are, sadly, not seen in service very often. Metro currently has a fleet of 10 hybrid buses + 5 CNG Buses (both of which aren't too old) that are designated for the Highway 17 Express, so these aren't really needed for service as for now. These are also not trackable on Metro's website so, it was quite a gamble, lol. So far, the ride on these is great. At some point in the video, right when this bus exited Pasatiempo, the driver stopped right in the middle of the highway checking for something on this bus. I wasn't sure what it was for, but hopefully the problem wasn't bus related. Anyways, I'm liking these so far!
