This ride was in December just gone, Darren came over to visit his family in the UK, of course I had to get out with him. This ride was after we did The Wrekin, and safe to say he loved it. Typical Welsh weather meant it was a little damp, however this place has all the grip ypu need no matter the weather!

The climb was a struggle for him I feel on the SL with less power than a full fat ebike, but he did really well and all in all we got 5 laps in. Both batteries pretty much dead by the end. Just shows though, with less power and a battery half the size of mine you can still get the same distance in. It really comes down to how much energy you want to expend on the climb.
For me the lightweight ebikes are really starting to be better developed and hopefully I get to try one out soon.
