Here's a bit of an oddity, taken directly from WXFL (now WFLA) in Tampa, Florida. During the NBC's "Game Of The Week" telecast of the Mets and Dodgers at Dodger Stadium that afternoon, a little transmitter interference occurred blanking both video and audio. It started off uniquely with NBC's Burbank Manual test pattern, followed by static from transmitter problems before cutting to the NBC "GOTW" card, the same exact recycled card that could be coming out of the "Just Watch Us Now" era a few years prior. That card was used for several years in the 1980s whenever the telecast experienced a technical difficulty.
After 30 seconds, video returned but no audio. Instead, radio calls by Scully were presented for another additional several minutes, including an apology. What's very funny is that at the 1:03 mark, Scully saying "nobody out" was echoed almost ten times.
