Since the lockdown many teachers have been wondering about the best ways to assess their students through the four language skills. Teachers tried many tools and got lost in the maze. Some teachers reverted back to the usual paper-based assessment tools, while others did it online, not sure of their success while others made a hybrid not yet totally satisfied.
On the other hand, teachers need to understand the core idea behind assessment. They need to differentiate between formative and summative assessment. They need also to be aware of differentiation among their own students.
In my Presentation, I will speak about different ideas for teachers to be able to differentiate between formative and summative assessment using the new CEFR revisions. I will also discuss and show the teachers practically five successful online tools that can cut it short for teachers and help them do assessment for the four language skills as successfully as possible.
