River Thames - dramatic rescue of a swimmer by the crew of the Heiko

Hearing shouts of alarm I rushed to see what it was and saw that the crew of the Heiko had turned the boat really quickly in the river and were getting ready to pick up someone who was bobbing in the water. This was at full tide when the river was moving fairly choppily.
They managed really skillfully to manoeuvre right next to the person and let down a pole. One of the crew can be seen climbing over the edge to help the person on board.
Once on board, the person, who appears to be a young man or teenager, slumps into the boat.
The tide on the Thames is extremely strong and it's impossible to outswim it when it's running.
This was an amazing rescue and that person will be thankful that the crew acted so quickly and were so quick thinking.
