Check out the new exclusive preview demo look from the upcoming Phantom Line running in Unreal Engine 5. We captured this open playtest gameplay footage in RTX 5090 and 4K monitor (no commentary). Phantom Line is an upcoming tactical paranormal SWAT co-op shooter developed by Antistatic Studios (a team featuring former developers of Cyberpunk 2077, BioShock, and Hitman). The game blends hardcore military tactics from Ready or Not with supernatural anomalies that will remind you of David Lynch's horror and STALKER.

Description:

The game is set in a post-nuclear European continent, specifically a region known as the "Iron Corridor." While the world is reeling from nuclear war, an even bigger threat has emerged: anomalies. These are paranormal rifts in space-time that release monstrous entities and bizarre phenomena. You play as an operator for Mortfield Industries, a megacorp tasked with containing these threats away from the public eye.

Gameplay Features:

The H.U.S.K. System: Instead of risking your human body, your consciousness is transferred into artificial bodies. You can use these husks as decoys, scouts, or specialized combat units. The game encourages a "Go die again" philosophy, where losing a body is part of the strategy to gather intel and refine your approach.

Co-op and Solo: You can play with up to 4 players or go solo using AI-controlled husks to execute commands.

Open World: The map features dynamic events where rifts open randomly, requiring you to improvise and adapt.

The Hub: Your base of operations is a nuclear icebreaker ship. Between missions, you return here to customize your H.U.S.K., modify weapons, and cook hunted wildlife to maintain your stats.

Tactical Horror: It combines the tactical feel of games like Ready or Not or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with surreal, supernatural horror similar to Control.
