The BEST Gingerbread Recipe 🎄 Soft, Spiced & Perfect for the Holidays

In this video, I’ll show you how to make soft, flavorful gingerbread that’s perfect for Christmas, holidays, or cozy baking days at home.

✨ This gingerbread recipe is:
✔️ Soft and moist OR crispy
✔️ Packed with warm spices
✔️ Easy to make at home


📌 *Full Recipe Here*:

💠 3 Cups all purpose flour

💠 3/4 Cup Firmly packed brown sugar

💠 1 TBSP ground cinnamon

💠 2 TBSP ground ginger

💠 1/2 Tsp ground cloves

💠 1/4 Tsp ground nutmeg

💠 1/2 Tsp salt

💠 3/4 Tsp baking soda

💠 12 TBSP unsalted butter cut into 12 pieces

💠 3/4 Cup unsulphured molasses

💠 2 TBSP milk


📌Optional smidge of cayenne pepper


➡️ In food processor add flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt and baking soda mix then add butter. And process until resembles sand.
➡️ Then while the machine is running add molasses and milk. Process until it forms a workable dough.
➡️ Roll dough out between 2 pieces of parchment paper to 1/4"
➡️ Then refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
➡️ Cut out and bake Upper & Lower oven racks for approximately 8 to 11 mins.
➡️ BAKE until cookies centers and dough barely retains a fingerprint
➡️ Cool completely before decorating.

ICING
💠 4 cups of powdered sugar
💠 approximately 5 TBSP warm water
💠 3 TBSP meringue powder

➡️ Beat together until you reach desired consistency.
