The PGA TOUR Champions 2026 campaign gets underway at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in Ka‘upulehu-Kona, Hawaii. A 42-player field will tee it up on the pristine Hualalai Golf Course as the event celebrates its 30th anniversary at one of the circuit’s most iconic venues. Defending champion Ernie Els returns to lead a distinguished field that includes six World Golf Hall of Fame members, highlighted by three-time winner Bernhard Langer, whose success at Hualalai has spanned more than a decade. Past champions Steven Alker and Miguel Ángel Jiménez add further depth to a veteran-heavy lineup, alongside 2025 Player of the Year Stewart Cink and fellow Hall of Famers Fred Couples, Retief Goosen, Davis Love III and Vijay Singh. With palm-lined fairways, dramatic lava rock and ideal island conditions, Hualalai once again provides a fitting stage for a season opening showcase rich in history and star power.
