Viking Line Ferry Amorella (Stockholm - Mariehamn - Turku)

Описание: A film about the Viking Line ferry MS Amorella in service on the route Stockholm - Turku, between Sweden and Finland in June 2018.

We are on a sea voyage with the Amorella from Sweden to Finland and back. We make a stopover on the Aland Islands in the port of Mariehamn.

During our journey from Stockholm to Turku we also see the Viking Line ferries MS Rosella, MS Viking Grace and MS Gabriella, the sister ship of MS Amorella.

Besides the Viking Line ferries, we also see the Tallink Silja Line ferries MS Galaxy, MS Baltic Princess, MS Romantika and MS Silja Serenade on our journey.



The Amorella was built in Yugoslavia in 1988 and used by Viking Line on the Turku - Mariehamn - Stockholm route.
The ship remained in service on this route until 2022. In spring 2022, the Amorella was replaced by the newbuilding Viking Glory.

In April 2022, the Amorella changed to the Helsinki - Mariehamn - Stockholm route and remained in service there until mid-September 2022.

The Amorella was sold to the shipping company Corsica Ferries and renamed Mega Victoria.
This marked the end of the Amorella´s almost 34 years of service for the shipping company Viking Line.
