4th of July Weekend - Conroe, TX.
This lighthouse is located on Lake Conroe in Willis, TX. Also known as the Harbour Town Lighthouse. This lighthouse is on private property so there is no public access, but the light is visible from most of the lake. It was built in 1977 as a private aid for navigation. It was damaged by a tornado and rebuilt in 1999. It is a octagonal tower with alternating red and white horizontal bands, copper top, steel frame with stucco sides. The lighthouse stands at 90 feet tall.
