There are a total of 13 Schematics to find in the Dead Space Remake. For the "Merchant" trophy / achievement however, you only need to find 12 of them (presumably as one is missable).

The Schematics will allow you to purchase that particular item at any of the shop, they can come in very handy. You will also need to find the suit Schematics in order to upgrade your suit.

Besides the missable schematic in Chapter 9, you are able to free roam before the point of no return in Chapter 11 to get any you may have missed. Going into New Game plus will keep your currently found Schematics also.

To check which Schematics you are missing, go through what items you can purchase from the shop, any missing from below you will need to go and get that Schematic.
