↠ Smoky Chickpeas Recipe
serves 2-4
1 can of chickpeas
1.5 tbsp runny tahini
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
3-5 dashes of cayenne pepper
1.5 tsp nutritional yeast
black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse and drain the chickpeas, then pat dry and and add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well and transfer to a lined baking sheet. Spread the chickpeas in an even layer (I like then they're touching though because then parts of the chickpeas get crispy and other parts stay a little fast and creamy)
Bake for 10-15 minutes, then stir and bake for another 7-10 minutes depending on how crispy you like them.
Remove from oven and serve on salads, in veggie wraps, or use to garnish homemade hummus.
