Описание: Once I got rolling, I really enjoyed making this video! I appreciate the recipe request. We transplanted our Carex viridula sedges into two different potting mixes at the same time. Here is the recipe for the potting mix that the sedges did extremely well in. The other potting media was straight Pittmoss Prime, with nothing added. It was a very interesting experiment, and confirmed the importance of balancing potting mix with appropriate amounts of nutrients and other characteristics. Recipe 21 provides nutrients primarily through the Wild Valley Farms wool pellets and the BCS Livestock compost, with small amounts of nutrients also in the G&B Soil Building Conditioner. Pittmoss Prime is intended to be used as a direct one-for-one peat substitute, so it makes sense that it functions best with other ingredients added. For this recipe, you could substitute Pittmoss Prime instead of Pittmoss Grower Grade Brown, if it is easier to source. You can ask for Pittmoss Prime at any store that sells through the distributor, Concentrates Inc. Also, you can use any container to measure your parts; that is the joy of ratios! I use a 5 gallon bucket as one part, but you could use a yogurt container or any bucket depending on how much media you want to mix. #peatfree #plants #pittmoss #woolpellets #biochar
