Hello everyone, Jo here—thanks so much for joining me!
In today’s tutorial, we’re diving into the world of colour and shimmer, using Mica Minerals to add rich, iridescent tones to your designs. For this project, we’ll be working with Iridescent Violet, blending it with various shades of Elements Ink to create stunning, glistening watercolours. Trust me—you’re going to love the shimmer.

We’ll begin by painting the intricately detailed Forest Leaf, stamped with Versamark Watermark Ink and finished with a coat of Wow! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder for that beautiful, raised effect.

Then, having completed our Forest Leaf card, we’ll make the most of those leftover violet, pink, and blue hues on our acrylic board “palette", by blotting them with blank Watercolour Tags. This spontaneous technique creates vibrant, one-of-a-kind backgrounds, perfect for a layered collage featuring our elegant Butterfly Stickers.
This is effectively a “two for the price of one” project. So get your supplies ready, and let’s get creative!
