Improvements are coming to five City-owned roadways and six State-owned roadways throughout Durham. Street resurfacing projects will begin in the late spring and early summer on Roxboro Street, Mangum Street, Liberty Street, Dillard Street, University Drive, West Main Street, Stadium Drive, Oak Grove Parkway, Woodcroft Parkway, Crown Parkway, and Elizabeth Street. Public open houses and pop-up events will be held for each roadway throughout the winter. Staff will also make efforts to communicate expected street changes in both English and Spanish through these events, the project webpage, mail notices, Way to Go Durham newsletters, and through our Transportation Department’s social media channels.
