There's not much info out there about this wonderful but forgotten amp that Mesa Boogie made in the late 90's. It has some of the best Mesa tones as well as Marshall tones.
I think the amp gets described most often as a blues amp. I think that is not a fair description at all. There are lots of tones hidden in the amp. You just have to be willing to dig them out. Various power tube types really make a difference in the tone too. It can run 6L6GC, EL34 or 6V6 tubes. All of which will lend there own unique tone and feel to the amp. Tha amp can be ran anywhere from 20 to 120 watts depending on the tubes used and where various switches are set. Many many tone altering switches and knobs to play with. Nearly endless tone possibilities.
