কোচবিহারের দোল উৎসব শুরু হয়েছে মদনমোহন মন্দিরে বিশেষ পূজার মধ্য দিয়ে। ভোরে কুলদেবতার স্নান শেষে বারান্দায় ঠাকুরকে ভক্তরা দূর থেকে আবির ছুড়ে দেন। রাজ ঐতিহ্য মেনে পঞ্চম দোল পর্যন্ত মদনমোহন বারান্দায় পূজিত হবেন। বুধবারের সওয়ারি উৎসবে অন্যান্য মন্দিরের দেবতারা একত্রিত হয়ে রাসমেলার মাঠে বিশেষ পুজোয় অংশ নেবেন। সকাল থেকেই ভক্তদের ভিড়ে উপচে পড়েছে মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণ। জেলাশাসক রাজু মিশ্রও সাধারণ মানুষের সঙ্গে আবির খেলায় অংশ নিয়েছেন।

The Dol festival in Cooch Behar has started at Madanmohan Temple with special worship. After the morning bath of the presiding deity, devotees throw colored powder at the deity from a distance on the veranda. Following royal tradition, Madanmohan will be worshipped on the veranda up to the fifth Dol. During Wednesday's Saowari festival, deities from other temples will gather and participate in a special worship at the Ras Mela grounds. Since morning, the temple premises have been crowded with devotees. District Magistrate Raju Mishra also participated in throwing colors with the general public.
