Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh filed a petition Friday asking the court to force the Federal Aviation Administration to alter flight paths at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Flights in and out of BWI-Marshall changed in 2014 after federal officials started using satellite navigation. Since then, airport neighbors have endured what they say is intolerable noise pollution. Some residents describe the concentration of low-flying aircraft as "jet quakes."
