Amber was born to an immigrant mother from the Dominican Republic who, at just 21 years old, chose sacrifice over surrender, setting aside her own dreams of college because life felt overwhelming, yet in that very moment began saving for Amber’s future. Amber never took that gift lightly. She carries it with her in everything she does with a mesmerizing presence and a fierce determination that refuses to waste a single opportunity, a single conversation, a single day. She lives in the present in the most fascinating way, moving through life with purpose and intention, choosing to read, to connect deeply, to nurture friendships, to care for her body, her mind, and her spirit. She listens, truly listens, in a world that often rushes past pain without noticing it, and she offers care with a depth that can only come from understanding that you never really know what someone is carrying.
