Описание: The way I find unique events in Seoul is amazing — even to me.
This is another vlog from a foreign artist living in Seoul.


In this vlog, I explore Seoul’s creative scene through design talks,
galleries, tea culture, and everyday inspiration.


The event I’m talking about is a design talk
by a Dutch graphic designer from Studio Spass.
It took place at the RYSE Hotel, which presents itself as a space
where freedom, visual creativity, and art live together.
I enjoyed it — really enjoyed it!
I even asked a question related to the design process.


Following the first storyline of the vlog (graphic design),
I’ll also show you a Korean tea brand. An interesting fact about Korea
is that there isn’t a widespread tea culture. That’s why you don’t see
many tea places or tea houses in Seoul. The brand I’m showing is
almost the only large commercial tea brand here.
Its design is very gentle and nature-oriented.


Did you know that Seoul is full of small galleries?
You’ll see one of them in this vlog.
And luckily, the exhibition there is intertwined
with motifs from Korean folk culture.


Living in Seoul means having a phone gallery
overflowing with photos of flowers, landscapes, and nature.
I have a feeling that this city arrived here from somewhere els
and settled between mountains and nature
without changing everything around it.
This metaphor gave me a hint for a painting idea.


And how are we, artists, without a good art supply shop?
Right — we’re still artists, but without art supplies 😄
So I’m sharing one address with you.
