He is Suleiman bin Sulaymullah bin Rajaa’ullah bin Buti al-Ruhayli, from the Harb tribe - one of the major scholars of Medina.

• Instructor at the Prophet’s Mosque.
• Imam and Khateeb in Masjd Quba
• Former Dean of Student Affairs at the Islamic University.
• Supervisor of numerous theses at the university.
• Holder of the Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh Chair for Fatwa Studies at the university.
• Member of the university council and other committees.
• Participant in local and international conferences and programs.

He authored several works, some of which remain unpublished:

1. Explanation of al-Usool al-Thalatha (under publication).
2. Explanation of al-Sa’di’s poem on legal maxims (manuscript).
3. Explanation of the Book of Sales from Manar al-Sabeel (transcribed from recordings, under publication).
4. Principles of Balancing Benefits and Harms.
5. Issues related to textual evidence that al-Razi erred in al-Mahsoul wa al-Ma’loom.
6. Usul-related definitions in the works of Ibn Taymiyyah.
7. Issues of command in Usul al-Fiqh criticized by Ibn Taymiyyah.
8. Insights on Maqasid (objectives) in al-Muwafaqat (under publication).
9. Ibn Taymiyyah’s critique of the concept of “obligating the impossible” (under publication).
10. The Deviation of Youth: Causes and Remedies.
11. Understanding Trials and Tribulations.
12. Master’s thesis: Interpretation and Its Impact on Usul al-Fiqh.
