Climbing Kalymnos | Sisyphus Junior*** (7a+)

Описание: On climbing trips you meet so many great people, today we were climbing with Tobi, a crusher from Germany. Tobi is a regular to Kalymnos and comes here every year for his climbing fix, we caught up with him on Sisyphus Junior at the Ghost Kitchen.

This route is considered to be at the very top of the grade 7a+ and pretty close to 7b. After a 3 attempt battle on it myself I would concur with it being a solid 7a+ and would love to hear more from people who have also climbed this route. It has one distinct crux where the feet are sparse and the movements are powerful, then its a case of holding it together through a few more tricky moves in the upper section and not getting pumped on the final toufa!!!

Sisyphus Junior*** 7a+

In Greek mythology Sisyphus or Sisyphos was the king of Ephyra. He was punished for his self-aggrandizing craftiness and deceitfulness by being forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill only for it to roll down when it nears the top, repeating this action for eternity.
