This is my Shure MVX2U review. I share my initial thoughts on Shure's new audio interface.
The #Shure #MVX2U retails for 129.00 USD. The device has an all-metal construction and works with the ShurePlus MOTIV software. The Shure MVX2U provides 60dB of gain which is plenty for even the most gain hungry microphone like the Shure SM7B.
MVX2U LIGHT INDICATOR:
Green: USB connection is made.
Amber: USB connection has failed.
Amber Flashing: Firmware update is in progress.
Red: MVX2U has been muted.
Off: No connection.
The first time you connect the MVX2U, phantom power will be on. Auto Level Mode: Near 1-6" Far 6-18".

The Shure MVX2U is a cohost's dream. I'll be sending the MVX2U to my cohosts because it's easy to mount plus the software gives it flexibility that's not found in most podcast audio interfaces.
