I recently visited Alpine Adventure: Starring Begonias at the Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay, and it was like walking through a living postcard every corner bursting with colors, charm, and a touch of mountain magic.

From the vibrant begonias cascading in shades of red, pink, and white to the miniature Swiss landmarks including Zürich’s St. Peter’s Church (with Europe’s largest clock face!) and the Fraumünster the entire dome transforms into a breathtaking Alpine escape.

Don’t miss the recreation of the Glacier Express, the world’s “slowest yet most scenic train ride,” or the beautiful Geneva Flower Clock, made with nearly 1,000 begonias that actually tell time! Every display is packed with detail the Matterhorn, Swiss papercutting art, and even the alphorn, the long wooden instrument that sings through the Alps.

Over 50 varieties of alpine and seasonal plants bring the spirit of Switzerland to life from elegant Elatior Begonias and Snapdragons to charming Chamomile and Petunias. The air is filled with color, fragrance, and pure serenity.
