The Democratizing Human Rights Conference: Towards an Inclusive & Participatory Human Rights Agenda was held October 23-24, 2025 at McMaster University. Convening over 30 scholars and practitioners from 14 countries, this interdisciplinary event saw global perspectives on how we might help bridge tensions between democratic practice and human rights protection.
