A large ridge of high pressure, or a heat dome as it is often referred to these days, will establish itself across the region as the week comes to a close and the weekend arrives. This will bring a prolonged stretch of sunny, dry, and very hot weather to the Province. Highs for many areas are expected to be near 30 by the weekend. While I love sunny weather, this is the last thing we need with the fires ongoing across the Province.
