A formerly un-gated level crossing found in the settlement of Llanddwywe between Barmouth and Harlech on the Cambrian Coast Line, situated between the two request stops of Talybont and Dyffryn Ardudwy. This level crossing has incredibly loud alarms given that there's a private residence in the form of a former crossing keeper's cottage right next to it, and it previously had no barriers until December 2014 when two half barriers were 'bolted' onto the system. This can be characterised by the alarms turning off before the barriers raised as they're not used to their presence, but the lights stay on until they're nearly fully-raised. A single Barmouth-bound unit can be seen rocketing by in this video.
