Why This Malaysian Island is so Strange, Yet So Unique 🇲🇾 (Penang Island)

In this video, the road trip around Malaysia continues and ends. We start in Ipoh Malaysia and head towards Penang, Penang island to be specific. Before I left I thought the entire island was named "George Town" but I was wrong.

When we get to George Town we explore The Clan Jetties of Penang, some were dilapidated, derelict, decrepit and down-right dangerous, falling apart beyond repair. While some were in great condition and restored (and renovated beyond) Their original condition.

Many people may be angry or annoyed at me for showing this area which looks like the slums of Malaysia, but really, there were some parts that look terrible. I understand its an UNESCO World Heritage Side, but the locals and the government need to treat it more like that, there was so much washed up rubbish and just building waste trash around with hardly any upkeep.

We then headed over to Batu Ferringhi which was a really cool area with plenty of restaurants, resorts, nice beaches' and plenty of stuff to do during the day an night. I ended up booking the cheapest motel / cheapest hotel in Penang, named the Rasa Motel Batu Ferringhi Penang, because we know I like to stay on a budget, but I enjoyed it all it all!
