Indore police destroyed 1,500 modified two-wheeler silencers using a road roller on Monday, part of an ongoing drive against noise pollution. The silencers, seized over the past three months under the Motor Vehicles Act, were laid out on the road in Vijay Nagar and crushed. Additionally, 70 illegal car horns and sirens were also destroyed. DCP Anand Kaladgi said the campaign will continue to curb noise and air pollution.
