Risso's dolphins (Grampus griseus) - Linosa Island, Strait of Sicily

Описание: This pair of free-ranging Risso's dolphins is really curious. After coming nearby the boat these dolphins have swam under its shadow showing the belly throughout sinuous movements. This kind of video captures our attention as sometimes it allows to identify the genre of the individuals, otherwise hardly recognisable, through observing the sexual features from the lower abdomen.

The main scope of Mar.Eco Osservatorio della Natura Association, within the study and monitoring of cetacean population in the Pelagie Arcipelago, is to better understand the use of habitat, the association patterns and movements of both all year long and seasonal resident species.
