Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure - The Final Battle (Starters Only / No Lives Lost)

Anyway, to match up with my speedruns over the past 2 weeks, a final boss run was inevitable. And I like to push myself as well, as the challenge I had set myself is to beat it with ONLY the 3 starter figures that came with the game, and without any of them die (or as the game calles them, "wounded").

yearofthe's run through the SpyrosKingdom account covered this boss as well under similar circumstances, though he was trying to beat it with just the starters and only Spyro maxed up in regards to experience. Having seen him do well with that, it set itself as a foundation to see what I can do here.

Ultimately, here's how they were used:

Spyro - Fully upgraded down the fireball path, the spread-fire nature of his attack at this stage made him more ideal for dealing with long-range and wider targets, thus mostly saving him for the second half of the fight (third set of minions onwards).
Gill Grunt - Fully upgraded down the water pack path (required due to some of the shortcuts during the speedrun process), his attack and steady control over it makes it a heavy hitter for Kaos's machine early on and a more ideal weapon for slower/close-range attackers. Also was drafted in to finish off the third phase for the sake of conserving some of Spyro's energy.
Trigger Happy - Only used once and that was as a punchbag for the Hydra's first Undead spell. I've always shown dislike for those lasers, so by using the least affective fighter for me at that part, it straightens things out significantly.

And there we go! It may take a while due to lack of a certain Earth character I love using (hehe Bash :3), but I managed to get there and achieved the goal!

I'm going to London tomorrow so I shall seal it at that, and I might provide one or two surprises from there, so stay tuned :)
