Die Daumenstützen (Thumbport I und Thumbport II) für Querflöten und Piccolo wurden entwickelt, um den Daumen beim Spielen zu entlasten. Die Daumenstütze wird einfach auf das Rohr der Querflöte geklemmt. Der Thumbport II bietet durch sein dickeres Profil und abgeänderten Form eine Alternative zum standardmäßigen Thumbport I Modell.
The thumb rests (Thumbport I and Thumbport II) for flutes and piccolos were developed to relieve the thumb while playing. The thumb rest is simply clipped onto the body of the flute. The Thumbport II, with its thicker profile and modified shape, offers an alternative to the standard Thumbport I model.
