(7 Mar 2018) A man wielding a knife attacked three people on the streets of Vienna on Wednesday, according to police and eyewitnesses.
Police said the attack happened around 1945 (1845 GMT) on Wednesday evening and said the three people suffered heavy to life-threatening injuries, and were in hospital.
Local media said the man randomly attacked pedestrians near the capital's famous Prater park.
Citing a police spokesman, the Austria Press Agency said the police were still searching for the attacker.
Video from the scene showed a police cordon in place.
A motive for the attack wasn't immediately known.
