The title song from the very underrated 1972 Newley/Bricusse musical "The Good Old Bad Old Days", sung by the master himself - the incomparable, immortal Mr. Anthony Newley.
I used the version from his Album "Ain't it Funny" 1972.
The filmexcerps are from "Live at the Hollywood Palace" (thanks to"kellysmurf", Youtube) and the beautiful TVmovie "I Clowns" (The Clowns, I 1970) directed by Federico Fellini, who was very adored by Anthony Newley, himself the Eternal Sad Clown,
