Another throwback to an event I attended before my Hawaii trip during the Holidays.
I tried the Trader Joe's chicken adobo, and much like everyone else, I was not impressed. I can understand the desire to expand their product line, but like the ube pancakes that came before it, this dish was mediocre at best. I would up making my own.
I finally had a chance to attend one of the Seafood City Late Night Events. I can honestly say it was a good time. These events started in the San Francisco Bay Area and have expanded to Southern California and even Las Vegas. The night was filled with food, music, a tinkling performance, and so many familiar faces. I hope the next even is closer to where we live so I can bring my family along.
