My reaction and review of the Laver and Wood MH6D - WOW!

Here is my reaction and review of the Laver and Wood MH6D Cricket Bat sent in by longtime supporter and bat collector David. Really looked forward to sharing this with the channel.

I made one mistake in showing the direction the dowels are drilled and although I did some research on the shape I and by no means an M&H expert so if I got the name of the shape or year released wrong, please comment below for the benefit of the community.

UPDATE 12/7 I sent the review to Laver and Wood as I know they enjoy watching the reviews and got this reply:

"Hi Marc, nice to hear from you. yes, chugging along here and nice and busy at the moment. A bit short on bat makers though as toby and jack left to go building as there is a real boom on at the moment here and it meant they did not have to drive an hour to work every day. I have just shifted things around and so am now pretty much full time in the workshop and I have Mike Pawson who is helping out on sales and the ambassador program now. I am really enjoying being back in the workshop as it is my passion. was a bit tough to start after too much time in the office but am stronger now and into it. I will look to add another bat maker soon but also someone to take on Social media and video as that is an area we are falling behind on at the moment. Liv is great on the office and with our website and I also have my two boys who help out quite a bit....
Loved the review. I remember making that one at the tail end of lock down. That style is more the style I used to make in the UK for M&H and Jules tended to make them with a higher sweet spot generally for the Aussie wickets.

The bat may be for sale, although it may not after David watches the video. Keep your eye on Gumtree in the Hobart area as it may come up for sale. Don't PM me please as I'm not your personal bat matchmaker and I'm not selling it.
