Jonathan Rinderknecht, 29, was taken into custody in Orlando, Florida, although authorities say he lived in the Palisades and was familiar with the area. He is suspected of first starting a smaller fire that burned underground, eventually erupting into The Palisades Fire. The arrest comes after a 9-month investigation.
