Made with soaked moong dal, fresh spices, and herbs, this cheela is high in protein, light on the stomach, and perfect for breakfast, lunch, or evening snacks.

📝 Ingredients:
For batter
2 cups Soaked moong dal
3- 4 Green chillies
1 inch Ginger piece
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1 pinch Heeng
Salt as per taste
For stuffing
p
1 tablespoon Oil
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped capsicum
1 cup finely chopped tomato
1 cup crumbled paneer
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt as per taste
For garnishing
Coriander leaves
For serving
Mint chutney
Peanut chutney
👩🍳 Method:
Grind soaked moong dal, green chillies, ginger and heeng together to make a smooth batter,
Transfer it to a bowl
Add turmeric and salt as per taste
And keep it aside for 10 mins
Stuffing -
In a pan saute onion in oil
After the onions turn golden add tomato and cook until they are soft
Add capsicum and make sure it remains crunchy
Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder
After the spices are mixed nicely add crumbled paneer
Mix lightly and add fresh coriander
Stuffing for cheela is ready !!!
For cheela
On a hot tawa brush oil
Spread the batter and cook until golden and crispy
Add the stuffing and garnish with fresh coriander
And your healthy moong daal cheela with paneer stuffing is readyyy !!
