US President Donald Trump has hit out at Harvard University, slamming the institution as a “disgrace”.
This comes after President Trump previously announced it was freezing billions of dollars in grants to the prestigious institution and vowed to remove its tax exemption status after the university defied the government’s demands.
“Tax exempt status, I mean, it’s a privilege ... and it’s been abused by a lot more than Harvard, so we’ll see how that all works out,” President Trump said.
