Today I am sharing a simple and traditional Pappu Charu recipe.
This recipe is made using very few ingredients and is light, healthy, and tasty.
It goes perfectly with hot rice.
I prepared this pappu charu by boiling toor dal with basic ingredients
and finishing it with a simple tempering.
Ingredients used:
Toor dal (Kandi pappu)
Tamarind
Tomato
Onion
Green chilli / Chilli powder
Salt
Turmeric powder
Hing (Inguva)
Curry leaves
Tempering ingredients
This pappu charu is:
Very simple to prepare
Not heavy on spices
Perfect for everyday meals
Simple Tips:
Cook dal well until soft
Adjust tamarind and spice as per taste
Add curry leaves at the end for good aroma
